Get ready everyone, because it looks like the Roy family will be back on our TV screens a lot sooner than we thought.
HBO revealed that Succession season 3 will premiere on October 17. Of course, it wouldn’t be a new season without a flashy new poster featuring our dysfunctional family as they reel from the events that took place in the season 2 finale. It looks like it will be a Kendall versus Logan showdown as they face each other with different members of the family. The only thing is, who is really on their side?
We thought we had answers based on the new release date posters. In the version sent to the press, Shiv, Roman, and Connor are on daddy Logan’s side of the poster. Meanwhile, Tom and Cousin Greg are right behind Kendall.
But in a sneaky potential Easter egg, the poster that Succession published on Twitter is showing us a completely different story. Shiv, Connor, and Cousin Greg are on Kendall’s side, while Roman and Tom are on Logan’s instead.

And then you can’t forget Instagram, which also has its own poster. In this one, Roman and Cousin Greg are on the left with Kendall, while Shiv, Tom, and Connor are standing with Logan on the right.

Interestingly, Cousin Gregg is the only one who never changes sides and is always with Kendall.
Coupled with these suspiciously staged posters is an official Succession season 3 description that hints at a major fallout between all of our faves.
“Ambushed by his rebellious son Kendall at the end of Season two, Logan Roy begins Season three in a perilous position, scrambling to secure familial, political, and financial alliances. Tensions rise as a bitter corporate battle threatens to turn into a family civil war,” HBO revealed in a press release.
So…what does this all mean? And who is really on whose side?! Guess we’ll have to tune in on October 17 to find out!
