Here she was seeking, something…living
Let’s say it, her past failures,
Robbed her, stippled her esteem with negativity
And in the darkest time, hope was absent
She had moments of joy, and she shared her life
With two gifts of exquisite delight, that became her world.
Yet she was seeking!
He was thrusting deep, as if he wanted to pierce her soul. Each stroke cauterising the pain of her past.
Transforming with passion, her battered and bruised heart
Pushing her to that place of utter bliss
He pounded on and on
No mercy sought, no mercy given
It wasn’t just that his seed washed her womb
He planted hope
That her brokenness, would become beauty within them
Here, she was seeking, something…living
Breathing
Brooding.
